Children killed – whole villages arrested – will you help?

Dear friend

In the past two months:
  • Three children were playing in their village when mortar bombs fired by the Burmese Army started falling around them. A two year old child was killed and the other two children suffered serious injuries.
  • A farmer was riding home on his motorbike when soldiers shot him in the neck, killing him.
  • The Burmese Army has been arresting whole villages, torturing some villagers to death.
  • The list of abuses committed by the Burmese Army in the past two months goes on and on.

They took place on the opposite side of the country, against ethnic people in Kachin and Shan States.
Communities there are asking for help to stop these human rights violations. They have made proposals for action. Will you help?

Please send a message to the head of the Burmese Army and to Aung San Suu Kyi supporting local communities who are demanding an end to these attacks.
We don't live in a country where our children can be bombed while out playing, but this is happening in Burma.

Please help. Take action here.

Thank you for your support.
