Shopping online this Christmas?
I know it seems very early to be talking about Christmas. We even have a rule in our office: no mince pies or Christmas music until 1 December! But with shops now gearing up for Christmas, many people are starting to make plans and we don't want you to miss out on this really easy way to help support human rights in Burma when you're doing your Christmas shopping.
We have teamed up with Easy Fundraising to raise funds through online shopping. There are nearly 3,000 retailers on board, including Amazon, John Lewis, Boots, M&S, Argos and Sainsbury's.
Every time you shop, they pay a small percentage to us - it doesn't cost you a penny extra!
It's really simple. All you have to do is follow these three easy steps:
2. Shop: Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising.org.uk first (or download the toolbar reminder), pick the retailer you want and start shopping.
3. Raise: After you've finished shopping, that retailer will make a donation to Burma Campaign UK for no extra cost whatsoever!
It's a great way to help Burma, simply by doing your online shopping via the easyfundraising website.
Your continued support is so important. Every day we receive reports of terrible human rights abuses. Every penny really does help us to campaign to stop these abuses, to free political prisoners and to stop rape and sexual violence by the Burmese army.
Thank you for supporting our work to stop human rights abuses in Burma.
