Dear friend

My name is Ben Hammond and last week I set out from Sidmouth to dance the
final 300 miles of my 1,300 mile dance from John O'Groats to Land's End to
raise funds to fight for human rights and democracy in Burma.

This week President Thein Sein has visited the UK and was given red-carpet
treatment by David Cameron. Thein Sein rules a country that still has one of
the worst human rights records in the world.

Burma is a country with hundreds of political prisoners still in jail, where
torture is still being used, where Thein Sein?s army continues to kill, to
bomb and to rape ethnic civilians. Burma is a country where ethnic children
in camps die because he won?t allow them to get aid.

Please support me by making a donation here:

To get to this point hasn't been easy. I've danced 3.2 million dance steps
to 11,000 tunes, consumed over 580,000 calories, danced higher than ski
lifts and even managed to get run over by a drunk driver in a
well-publicised hit and run. I'm determined to dance every step to the end.

This week the UK government has just agreed to send military advisors to
support the Burmese Army despite shocking human right abuses.

Please sponsor me here:

It's all to raise funds and awareness for a better Burma, a place I fell in
love with 8 years ago while working as a teacher in a refugee camp on its
border with Thailand.

Thank you
