Dear Friends,

WATCH A VIDEO OF OUR WORK
A big part of our work is working with the media to ensure they have all the
material they need to expose the suffering of the people of Burma.

Ive just returned from taking politicians and journalists to Eastern Burma
to see the desperate situation of the Burmese people forced to flee the
regime's brutal campaigns of ethnic cleansing.

One of the journalists on the trip was from the television network Al
Jazeera and he's just filed a gripping piece exposing the forgotten
suffering of the Karen people. Watch it here:

TWO MORE UN ENVOY VISITS FAIL TO SECURE CHANGE
In the past two weeks two UN envoys, Special Advisor Ibrahim Gambari, and
Special Rapporteur Thomas Ojea Quintana, have visited Burma. As with the
previous 37 visits by UN envoys, no concessions or reforms were secured from
Burmas generals. Read more about this here:

THANK YOU FOR WRITING TO YOUR MP
Earlier this month we wrote to you asking you to write to your MP asking
them to sign Early Day Motion 343 which calls for the release of Aung San
Suu Kyi and all Burmas 2,130 political prisoners.

We saw a huge response from you and Im happy to report that over 120 MPs
have responded to your requests and signed EDM 343. Thank you.

STAY UPDATED WITH OUR WORK - READ OUR MAGAZINE
If you'd like to find out more about our work you should read our magazine.
It's free and packed full of updates on the situation inside Burma and shows
you what we are doing to help bring human rights, democracy and development
to Burma. You can request it here:

Thanks,

Anna Roberts
